Upcoming Events
DPKLive
Discovery Pointe Kids Live is a midweek children’s ministry experience uniquely designed with your child in mind! Every Wednesday children Kindergarten through 5th grade experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way.
YOUR
FIRST
VISIT
Head to the Children's Check-in area and we will help check your child into our database system, and one of our staff or volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.
we’ll take some time to get to know you. We’ll ask about allergies, make sure we know what your child likes to be called, and collect your contact information.
Then, you and your child will both get a sticker with a matching code. If for any reason we need to reach you during the gathering, we will try to text you first and if that doesn't work you’ll see your code in the top corner of the screen. This sticker is also what you’ll use to pick-up your child after gathering.

SAFETY
AND
SECURITY
The safety and security of every child in DPK is our highest priority! This value manifests itself in many ways.
Every toy and environment is cleaned and sanitized to insure that germs and bacteria are not spread.
Every volunteer is screened with an extensive, seven step vetting process that we call the 'kidsafe' process. This process includes an application, interview, reference checks, a federal background check, training, testing and placement.
Our whole team; from staff members to room leaders to security team — are vetted and trained to keep your kids safe!
WELL
CHILD
POLICY
Another way that we keep our children safe is through a strictly enforced well child policy.
Children must be free of any ailments such as fever, vomiting, runny nose and drainage for 24 hrs before returning to DPK. Children that are identified with with these issues are removed promptly from the room.
Despite our best efforts, we may still come across commonly hidden ailments such as, flu, strep, hand foot and mouth, lice, etc. We commit to transparent communication with every parent in a room that may have an apparent outbreak.

CURRICULUM
Our desire is to ignite a passion in the next generation to follow Jesus with the aim to be gospel-centered disciple makers that know and love Jesus above all else! One of the ways that we do this is through our curriculum.
Our curriculum is developed and edited by a team of staff and volunteers that spend dozens of hours formulating age appropriate content for kids of all ages.
Our curriculum is often connected to the message series that our adults are going through. so that our church is all on the same page and parents can easily engage with their children about what they are learning.
DPK
SERVICES
All DPK services strive to be fun, engaging and fruitful for the children involved
We want kids to know there are people at church who care about them. As teachers commit to serving in the same service each week, children (and parents) begin to recognize familiar faces where relationships can grow.
Kids love fun! We create fun ways for children to learn about Jesus, including games, activities and singing. When children have fun at church, they can’t wait to come back.
We encourage parents to keep the conversation going on the car ride home. Ask your child these two questions:
-Did you have fun?
-What did you learn?
Our goal is to have a positive answer to both of those questions each week. Want to get more involved in what your child is learning? Follow Discovery Pointe Kids on Facebook to keep up with each week’s key takeaway and Bible story.
